Give me a task or a challenge, and I won’t just achieve it—I’ll crush it. From opening a restaurant as a self-taught chef, to becoming a certified 500-hour yoga instructor and building a successful, welcoming yoga studio in the mountains of Colorado—complete with classes, retreats, and teacher trainings—I’ve always followed my passions with fearless determination.

My newest creative journey began with something simple: a gifted rope bowl banneton for my new love of making sourdough bread. That ignited a small spark with a powerful artistic outlet, the inspiration for what is now Outer Banks Rope Company.

After beginning my career and marrying my husband, Jim, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, our adventures took us to Colorado where he turned his love of skiing into a career and I poured my heart into yoga and helping others.

Now, after 20 years, we’ve returned to the place where our story began—back to the sun, sand, and salty air that calls to my soul. Inspired by the ocean and driven by creativity, I’ve developed a full line of functional and decorative handcrafted pieces including bowls, totes, baskets, trays, and more—each one made with passion, purpose, and coastal charm.
